Moving and storage, arranged as one job
When your dates do not line up, you do not need a mover and a storage company and a diary to keep them in step. You need one booking and one person to chase.
The problem with booking them separately
The standard Dubai version goes like this. You book a mover for the move-out date. You book a storage company separately. The mover delivers to the storage company, and from that moment your furniture belongs to a business you have never met and cannot easily reach. When the new place is ready you book a second mover, who has to coordinate with the storage company, who has different opening hours.
Every handover between two companies is a point where something gets delayed, damaged or disputed — and where each one can point at the other.
How Smart Space does it instead
One booking covers the whole sequence:
- We pack and collect at your old address on the agreed day. Packing, wrapping and furniture disassembly are included.
- Everything is photographed as it is packed, so there is a record of what left the flat and what condition it was in.
- It goes into temperature-controlled storage for as long as the gap lasts — a week, a month, or longer.
- We deliver into the new address when you are ready. Collection and return timing is confirmed based on availability.
Throughout, you are talking to Smart Space on WhatsApp. Not to a mover, then a warehouse, then a second mover.
What it costs
Two charges, both confirmed before you book:
- Packing and transport — a one-off charge from AED 850 for boxes only, AED 1,600 for a studio, AED 2,400 for a one-bedroom, AED 3,500 for a two-bedroom and AED 5,000 for a villa.
- Storage — monthly, from AED 500.
Return delivery is quoted separately and charged in addition to storage, unless it is already included in your agreed package. If you pay six months of storage upfront your collection is free; twelve months makes collection free and takes 5% off the storage.
All prices exclude 5% VAT.

- Pay quarterly upfront — save 5%.
- Pay six months upfront — collection is free.
- Pay twelve months upfront — collection is free plus 5% off.
- Book painting together with storage — save AED 200 on the painting.
Common questions
How much does storage cost in Dubai with Smart Space?
Storage starts at AED 500 per month for a boxes-only unit. A studio is AED 700, a one-bedroom AED 1,200, a two-bedroom AED 1,950 and a villa AED 2,600 per month. Packing and transport is charged once, from AED 850. All prices exclude 5% VAT.
You get the full price confirmed before anything is booked.
Do you pack for me, or do I pack myself?
Packing, wrapping and any furniture disassembly are included in the one-off packing and transport charge. You do not need to pack yourself, and you do not need to hire a van or lift anything.
If you would rather pack your own boxes and only pay for transport, say so when you request your quote and we will price it that way.
Do I pay extra to get my things back?
Yes. Return delivery is quoted separately and charged in addition to storage, unless it is already included in your agreed package. It is normally charged at the same rate as your original collection, and the amount is confirmed with you before we schedule it.
If you paid six or twelve months upfront, your collection is free — return delivery is still quoted separately.
How quickly can you collect or return my items?
Message us on WhatsApp and we reply quickly. We confirm the collection or return slot with you before anything is scheduled — collection and return timing is confirmed based on availability.
The more notice you can give, the more choice of slot you have. If you are working to a fixed handover date, tell us the date when you first message.
Who actually does the work?
Smart Space manages the whole job and stays your single point of contact from the first WhatsApp message to the final delivery. The collection, transport, storage and painting are delivered through our operational structure and vetted partners.
You deal with us throughout. You do not get passed between three companies to chase a delivery slot.
How much notice do you need?
Tell us your dates as early as you can, especially if you are working to a tenancy end date or a handover inspection. Collection and return timing is confirmed based on availability.
Bookings around the end of the month and over school-holiday moving season fill up faster, so early notice gets you more choice.
Which areas of Dubai do you cover?
All of Dubai — Marina, JBR, JLT, Downtown, DIFC, Business Bay, Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah, Al Barsha, Mirdif, Arabian Ranches, Dubai Hills, Silicon Oasis, Sports City and the rest.
Tell us your building or community when you message and we will confirm access arrangements with you.
Is there anything you cannot store?
Yes. We cannot store food or anything perishable, live plants or animals, flammable or explosive material such as gas cylinders, fuel and solvents, chemicals, weapons and ammunition, illegal items, or cash, jewellery and documents of high value.
